ISLAMABAD, April 24 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese military medical expert team on Friday arrived here to join Pakistan's efforts to battle the current COVID-19 pandemic in the South Asian country. The 10-member medical expert team was received at the Islamabad International Airport by Pakistan's Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Nadeem Raza, as well as Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing.
BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- At the request of the Pakistani, Myanmar and Lao military forces, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Friday sent COVID-19 prevention and control materials, including nucleic acid testing kits and protective gowns, to the three militaries by air force planes. Three teams of PLA medical experts were also dispatched to the three countries to conduct anti-virus work, the PLA said in a statement.

Health Ministry Director-General Noor Hisham Abdullah said China's experiences and expertise originated from the fact that China had faced the outbreak earlier than Malaysia, and Malaysia learned a lot from China in terms of its action plan and strategic planning.
YANGON, April 22 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese medical team left Myanmar on Wednesday after providing two-week medical assistance to local medical workers in their fight against COVID-19. The 12-member team, who arrived in Myanmar's Yangon on April 8, comprised of medical experts from China's Yunnan Province in the fields of infectious control and prevention of respiratory and severe diseases, clinic treatment and laboratory testing.
