July is the most picturesque time of year in Qilian county, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province. Beneath blue skies and drifting white clouds, sweeping fields of rapeseed flowers blanket the foothills of the Qilian Mountains, creating a stunning panorama across the plateau.

At the foot of Zhuo'er Mountain, crimson Danxia landforms, golden rapeseed fields and emerald grasslands blend into a vibrant scene, framed by distant peaks and lush forests.

Along Qilian Highway 9, road trippers wind through slopes where the green of highland barley meets the gold of rapeseed flowers, carpeting the land from the valley floor to the mountainsides.
