Tearful reunion! Desertification fighter Yin Yuzhen embraces American friend again after 26 years

On the afternoon of Aug. 23, Ronald Sakolsky, an American who has supported China's efforts to combat desertification in the Maowusu Sandy Land, arrived at Ordos Ejin Horo International Airport in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He reunited with Yin Yuzhen, a nationally recognized hero in desertification prevention and control and a national model worker, and the two embraced once again after 26 years apart.
