In China, since ancient times, only one person has been honored with the title "lmmortal Poet." The person was born in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), named Li Bai. Who is Li Bai? Why can even three-year-old children in China recite his poems? And why have his poems crossed China’s borders to become popular in Central Asia and around the world?
His poems feature splendid scenery, which are full of the flavor of life, writing lines such as, “ Winds blow for miles with main and might, past the Jade Gate which stands so proud,“ A golden cup holds wine made from grapes, and a little horse carries a Wu nation beauty just 15 years old”…. Li Bai's dazzling poems is widely known and recited in both China and Kyrgyzstan.
