Yellow Crane Tower, where Wuhan's culture meets the world

On Sept. 20, the delegation of global mayors at the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue · Wuhan visited the Yellow Crane Tower, the time-honored cultural landmark.

Standing on the tower, the guests overlooked the Yangtze River and the landscape of Wuhan. They admired the cultural stories behind the landmark, and could not stop praising its magnificent architecture and profound heritage.

During the visit, the global mayors developed a keen interest in China's precious cultural heritage. Beyond witnessing Wuhan's strength in science and innovation, this trip enabled them to better understand traditional Chinese culture. It built a bridge for cultural exchanges between cities, promoted mutual learning among civilizations and deepened international friendship.
