Recently, a photographer captured a breathtaking moment of apple flowers blooming in Zhaoyang district of Zhaotong city, southwest China's Yunnan Province. The footage meticulously documented the transition from petals to fully blossomed flowers, beautifully illustrating the passage of time and the vibrancy of life.
Zhaoyang district is one of the leading apple production areas in southern China. In 2023, the size of these orchards reached 730,000 mu (48,000 hectares) and produced 900,000 tonnes of apples. While significantly boosting the incomes of more than 456,000 local farmers, these apples have become known as the "golden fruit," playing a crucial role in the economic well-being of these farmers.
