The Yangtze River, China's longest waterway, has played a vital role in the country's history, development and culture for thousands of years. It offers remarkable natural landscapes, diverse ecosystems and a rich cultural heritage.
People's Daily Online Hubei and the Yangtze Culture International Communication Center are seeking photos and videos that capture the essence of the Yangtze for an international contest called "Only the Yangtze."
