China willing to implement Global Civilization Initiative with ASEAN, GCC -- premier

KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang said here Tuesday that China is willing to work with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to jointly implement the Global Civilization Initiative.

Addressing the inaugural ASEAN-China-GCC Summit, Li called on the three sides to effectively manage differences through mutual understanding and to explore a new path for the inclusive advancement of diverse civilizations.
