Big Data Expo 2026 in Guiyang shows the promise of high-quality development

The opening ceremony of the China International Big Data Industry Expo was held on August 28, 2026 at the Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center in Guiyang, southwest China's Guizhou Province. It was a landmark event that kicked off a weekend of innovation, brainstorming and networking in the areas of big data, AI and robotics.

At the opening ceremony, several high-profile figures in both government and industry spoke about new developments and new potentials within the realm of data.

The slogan of the Big Data Expo, "Data Creates More Value, Innovation Brings a Better Future," was echoed through each of the speeches. The theme of this year's expo, "Token: A New Path to Value of Data Elements," was also highlighted in each speech at the opening ceremony.

Since 2015, China International Big Data Expo has been one of the leading conferences relating to big data technology. Each year here in Guiyang, industry elites in the fields of AI, cloud storage, block-chain, as well as data analysis and aggregation gather here to bring new ideas to the table and showcase cutting-edge technology in their respective niches.
