For Nima Wangjiu, now in his eighties and a representative inheritor of the Jiuhe Zhuo dance, a national-level intangible cultural heritage in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, the art has changed from a tool in his childhood as a serf dancer to "something dignified."

By the end of 2025, Xizang had 106 items on the national representative list of intangible cultural heritage, and its ancient cultural lineage has truly achieved enduring vitality and been passed down from generation to generation in the new era.
